I Tried the LOFREE Flow84 Black Phantom. Then Bought the White One

Published on

I really wanted to like the LOFREE Flow84 Black Phantom.

The design? Amazing. The low-profile mechanical switches? Promising. But as soon as I started typing, something felt off. The keys pushed back in a way that didn’t sit right with my fingertips. It wasn’t painful..just… tense. Like the keyboard was fighting back a little.

Still, I wasn’t ready to give up on the Flow84 just yet.

So I did what any keyboard nerd would do: I ordered the white one.

That’s the one I’m typing this post on right now and it’s a different experience altogether. The feel is smoother, the sound is creamier, and while it might not be the “dream board” some folks make it out to be, I’m really enjoying it. It just works well. It feels right. Typing is a flow, not a fight.

Sometimes it’s not about chasing the perfect keyboard. It’s about finding the one that gets out of your way and lets you enjoy the craft.
